Forty-one dogs taken in by the Humane Society of Williamson County in connection with a large seizure of neglected animals from the Uvalde Animal Shelter are healthy and ready for adoption, the shelter reports.

The dogs were among more than 200 animals seized earlier this month after an undercover video at the shelter revealed deplorable conditions, prompting the court to shutter the facility.

The WilCo HS partnered with the Humane Society of Uvalde to care for the medically-neglected animals and now the rescued pups that WilCo took in will be ready to find their forever homes tomorrow, Saturday, April 28, at the WilCo HS shelter, 10930 E. Crystal Falls Pkwy in Leander.
