With the announcement that Netroots Nation 2009 will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh over August 13-16, 2009, the Austin blogging community is recovering from the weekend.
“It was exhausting,” said Matt Glazer of Burnt Orange Report. “I think it went pretty well, but it’s up to y’all.” But Glazer looks on the positive side. “It was really productive, even for the people who could only be there for one day,” he said, adding that he’s glad the organizers taped the whole thing and will be placing it online. “That’s one of the things that I really appreciate about events like this. There’s so many tech heads that you can catch it later.”
Now there’s just the general election to deal with. “I’m looking forward to November 5, because at least then I can get a nap.” Hey, Matt, at least there can’t be a run-off in the presidential election. “It can happen. It’s called the supreme court.”
