While there is still no clue about a winner in the record-setting early voting numbers in Travis County, the on-going Quacks on 43rd cookie race between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton continues to go Obama’s way.

Each has their own signature cookie, and the bakery has been keeping track of sales. At 8am on Thursday, the totals stood at 416 ‘O’s sold to 234 ‘H’s. Now Obama is breaking even further ahead, with the totals when the doors opened on Friday morning standing at 436 to Obama against 242 for Clinton. Although this implies that support for the Illinois senator compared to his New York colleague (at least amongst Hyde Park coffee drinkers) is currently running more than two-to-one, it could just be that they don’t like angular snack products. The competition comes to an end Monday – just in time for the real poll.
