AISD’s board of trustees swore in its newly elected and re-elected members Monday. Amber Elenz (District 5), Jayme Mathias (District 2), Ann Teich (District 3), and Yasmin Wagner (District 7) return, with newly elected At-Large Place 8 trustee Cindy Anderson joining the fold. After a standing ovation for departing Place 8 trustee Gina Hinojosa (now a state representative in House District 49), members went into executive session to pick new board members. A lengthy closed-door meeting yielded no changes; members voted to keep the leadership team as is: President Kendall Pace, Vice President Paul Saldaña, and Secretary Julie Cowan.
