If it’s Friday, it must be another Fun Fun Fun Fest lineup leak, and the big announcement today is that rap icon Rakim makes up for having to drop out in 2011. He’ll be joined by some old school SoCal punks and a new Seattle sound.

Fun Fun Fun is teasing out the release. Last week we got a dose of sludge from Baroness, Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox in his Atlas Sound persona, Oregon electronica mavens Starfucker and oddball experimentalists Black Moth Super Rainbow. With this latest reveal we add (drumroll please) Rakim, folk-popsters The Head and the Heart, and veteran punks Lagwagon to the roster.

Fun Fun Fun Fest 2012 runs Nov. 2-4 at Auditorium Shores. All early bird and PIP tickets are sold out, but the regular tickets, price $175, go on sale in July, along with the full lineup release. Visit www.funfunfunfest.com for more news, and we’ll have regular updates as well.
