Okay, so maybe everyone doesn’t actually know everyone, but thanks to MySpace, everyone can download tracks from all of the DJs mentioned above and while away hours, days, years sifting through the myriad MP3 blogs that are even now helping to hatch a whole new slew of newborn DJs and eager old-schoolers. Here’s our pick for top five:

1) Hype Machine (hype.non-standard.net): An impossibly vast, dangerously addictive blog aggregator for indie hipsters and you.

2) Vice Records MP3 Blog (www.vicerecords.com/mp3blog.php): The name says it all.

3) The Big Ticket (www.the-big-ticket.blogspot.com): Part politics, part party, all interesting and downloadable.

4) PCL Linkdump (www.easydreamer.blogspot.com): Petty Booka and Snow Patrol, plus too many pop-culture links to even begin to get into.

5) DiscoBelle.net (www.discobelle.net): Baboon, Tittsworth, and Justice remixes galore. You’ll never be alone again.
