The new SoLa Blue Food Court (2323 S. Lamar) has recently installed picnic tables and created shade in anticipation of feeding hungry ACL Festival fans on their way to and from Zilker Park. There’s plenty of parking as well as access to the 338 Metro bus route.

The Zubik House parks here weekdays (except Monday) and serves delicious, seasonal kolaches with fillings like bacon, apple, and Brie, or Texas beef sausage. Chef/owner Andy Zubik also puts out a small, inspired menu of sandwiches and brunch items, including the Czech Benedict with smoked pork shoulder, fresh basil, and a fried local egg on top of grilled kolache bread. Zubik will be open Sunday during ACL weekends; you can also find the truck Saturdays at the Downtown farmers’ market. Tue.-Fri., 8am-2pm. www.thezubikhouse.com

Wasota African Cuisine is perhaps the most interesting of the trailers, with Lawrence Eguakun offering an enormous menu of West African-inspired cuisine: tender cubed beef, Jollof rice with spinach, black-eyed peas and spicy Benin sauce, fried plantains, and veggie pies. Taco Baby offers an unadorned menu of tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and drinks. Made-to-order breakfast tacos are a quick pick-up on the way to the festival, or later in the day grab a grilled fish on corn tortilla with a super spicy green sauce. 917/750-8576, Tue.-Sun., 11am-9pm.

JJ’s Lone Star BBQ Rounding out the court is the new JJ’s Lone Star BBQ, which starts its smoker early in the day and serves up solid brisket, pork ribs, wraps, and sides. Owners John and Jaylyn Morell say they will be open Sundays during ACL weekends. 512/739-4724, Tue.-Sat., 11am-4pm.
