We’ll be damned if we don’t find the best way for you to celebrate with deals on our second favorite cactus-based spirit (you’ll always be our baby, mezcal).
After all, even if it’s just a cynical ploy by the National Tequila Association, it’s a cynical ploy that leads to us drinking some discounted margs in the middle of a serious heat wave. And that, my friends, is something we should celebrate every day.

There’s the cherry limeade (a cherry cake donut with a tequila and lime zest glaze), the pineapple upside-down cake (the pineapple topping is infused with pineapple tequila), and the meandering orange cake donut (an unmeltable take on the Creamsicle topped with mandarin orange tequila infused cream cheese frostings). Representatives from five different tequila brands (plus Grand Mariner, which, to be fair, I guess you do need to make margaritas) will be spending an afternoon showcasing their wares so you can settle once and for all which bottle to stock your home bar with. The folks at Craftsmen promise a full menu of special cocktails based off of all the visiting tequilas, plus their classic frozen Paloma with house made grapefruit soda. Soak up a little knowledge with all that agave.
Keep to the Serious Side of Tequila at El Naranjo
You know the people who make all their own salsas, moles, and sauces laboriously from scratch aren’t here to mess around when it comes to showcasing Mexico’s most internationally beloved spirit. Offering twenty percent off all tequilas and tequila cocktails all day long, diners can choose between classics like the Organica (a simple margarita) or the Sweet Life (with Naranja liquor and lime juice) or get sweet with fruity alternatives like the strawberry based La Fresca and the peach purée sweetened Durazno.Drink Six-Fingered Discount Don Darios at Suerte
Lucky for you, this steal of a deal runs every day at this eastside Mexican hotspot. Served in a lovely hand blown glass that’s heavy enough to resist your tequila goofs, the Don Dario boasts blanco tequila, tamarindo, sarsaparilla, and lime. It’s sour, sweet, and only $6 during Happy Hour from 5-6pm.
