If you want to get the flavor of SXSW music, take the Cap Metro, especially the #1. On my ride downtown, there were South-byers from Germany, England, and Australia. The #1 gets thicker with International riders at night. I really like hearing the cacophony of languages from all over the world on the bus. It makes me feel like I live in a big city. Of course, others aren’t so happy. One local who was surprised at how packed the #1 was at one in the afternoon remarked, “Oh, it’s all that Southwest by Southwest business.”
