    Lizzie, the Musical

    That legendary company called Doctuh Mistuh Productions returns to Austin after a five-year hiatus to present this rock musical adaption of the grisly Borden Family murders in 1893 and the subsequent trial of Lizzie Borden. The show – which premiered in NYC in 2009 and is written by Steven Cheslik-deMeyer, Tim Maner, and Alan Steven Hewitt – is directed here by the irrepressible Michael McKelvey, with musical direction by Ellie Jarrett Shattles.
