    Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival

    This is the 16th year for the annual celebration of the skin arts – the biggest art and tattoo event in Texas. Watch the pros tint skin live and in person. The burlesque, belly dancing, and sideshow acts will help you forget about your aching epidermis.

    SoundSpace

    This annual series prompts 10 musical intrigues inspired by the Blanton Museum. California’s Sarah Mendelsohn composes for the security staff, while SoundSpace curator Steve Parker promises participatory ritual work with Pop Rocks to exorcise the demons of media propaganda. Texas State’s Gamelan Lipi Awan orchestra plays traditional Balinese percussion, and Adrian Quesada responds to the Latin collection.
