    UT Football

A cautiously optimistic question mark may soon punctuate "Texas is back" if the Longhorns can defeat perennial championship contender Alabama in their second game of the 2022 season. Only a potentially sweltering 11am kickoff will rival the buildup of the hotly-anticipated matchup between two of college football's most famous programs. Heisman hopeful running back Bijan Robinson, 5-star transfer quarterback Quinn Ewers, and phenomenal wideout Xavier Worthy lead a Burnt Orange offense hoping to put up numbers this year. A win over the Crimson Tide would provide second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian with a much needed statement victory after an embarrassing home loss to Kansas epitomized a disappointing first year.
