In the Sept. 6 story on the House District 50 race (“So Special: The Race to Replace Mark Strama”), we mistakenly listed Michael Cargill as a candidate; he did not file by the Sept. 4 deadline and instead endorsed Mike VanDeWalle.
And in the “Candidate Snapshot” section of the story, we listed an endorsement of Rico Reyes by “former” Pflugerville Mayor Pro Tem Victor Gonzales; Gonzales remains Mayor Pro Tem. The Chronicle regrets the errors.
