Last week’s “Looking for ‘Real’ Democrats” mistakenly reported that Fidel Acevedo won the endorsement of the South Austin Democrats for chair of the Travis County Democratic Party. Actually, he won the endorsement of the Southwest Austin Democrats. The South Austin Democrats endorsed Andy Brown for party chair. Also, we misidentified sculptor Peggy Maceo as Pam Maceo in last week’s “Dinosaur-Track Rescue Mission Under Way at UT … Slowly.” The Chronicle regrets the errors.
