With the Omicron surge in full effect, theatres around the nation have been canceling performances. Sadly, add Austin’s Zach Theatre to the list, as this will be a Christmas without A Christmas Carol.

The riverfront theatre’s Yuletide production of the Dickens classic has canceled all performances through Boxing Day (Dec. 26) due to a breakthrough infection in the cast. The current plan is to continue performances on Wed., Dec. 29.

Affected ticket holders will receive an email outlining their options, and the theatre recommends that anyone with further questions contact the box office at 512-476-0594 ext.1.
