Austin Film Festival 2012
The long-running, screenwriting-centric Austin Film Festival and Conference combines panels, premieres, and plenty of stars to gaze on, including scheduled guests America Ferrera, Julia Stiles, Paul Feig, Edward Burns, Chris Carter, Kik Brooks (of Brooks & Dunn), and Robert Rodriguez. AFF 2012 kicks off Thursday, Oct. 18 with Opening Night Film Not Fade Away – the feature directorial debut of Sopranos auteur David Chase, who'll be in attendance – and runs through Oct. 25.
