Mourners poured out of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Friday, June 8, following the funeral of Kevin Alexander Brown. Brown was slain the previous weekend by Austin Police Department Sgt. Michael Olsen. On patrol near the after-hours bar Chester’s Nightclub, Olsen responded to reports that Brown had a gun; after a scuffle in Chester’s parking lot, and a chase through a nearby apartment complex, Brown was dead with two bullets in his back.
