September 26-28, 2019

For three days in late September, the Texas Tribune, an Austin-based nonprofit media organization, takes over Downtown Austin for a festival of the political persuasion. Now in its nine year, TribFest annually gathers leaders in politics, public policy, and journalism for in-depth conversations and panels that tackle the most pressing issues of the day, including immigration, paid sick leave, gender equity, and more.

Passes for the 2019 festival are currently on sale. Discounted tickets are available for students and educators, and Austin Chronicle readers can receive $50 off badge price using the promo code ACFAN19. TribFest ‘19 will also see the return of Open Congress, three tents of 100% free and open to the public programming on Saturday, Sept. 28.

A note to readers: Bold and uncensored, The Austin Chronicle has been Austin’s independent news source for over 40 years, expressing the community’s political and environmental concerns and supporting its active cultural scene. Now more than ever, we need your support to continue supplying Austin with independent, free press. If real news is important to you, please consider making a donation of $5, $10 or whatever you can afford, to help keep our journalism on stands.
