Gate admission to the Austin-Travis County Livestock Show & Rodeo is $3 per person, free admission for kids 12 and under. Advance rodeo ticket sales, which admit folks to the shows in the L.J. Luedecke Rodeo Arena, include gate admission.

Parking will set you back $5 per car. Do not park along Decker Road, expecting to be able to walk up. You will be charged $5 per person walk up. Capital Metro offers a free shuttle from Reagan High at Hwy290 & Berkman, 6:30pm to midnight, Thursday and Friday, and noon until midnight, Saturday and Sunday.

The carnival midway opens at noon each day. Carnival admission is free once inside the main gates. Ride tickets are 75cents each, with most rides costing 3-5 tickets each. Tickets purchased in multiples earn discounts: 20 for $12, 40 for $22, and 60 for $30. Thursday, March 19 is KHFI Wristband Day, all rides all day are $18 or $12 with KHFI wristband. 467-9811. – KXM
