In 2002, two Austin institutions – the long-running public television music showcase, Austin City Limits, and the city’s beloved, 351-acre Zilker Park – combined forces for the first ACL Festival. Thanks to homegrown mega promoters C3 Presents, they’ve been making sweet music together ever since. Headliners have included Radiohead, Stevie Wonder, Eminem, Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, Björk, Massive Attack, Al Green, Wilco, and Beck.
