The Austin Toros will be moving their home court to the new Cedar Park Center for two games vs. the Reno Bighorns (Tue.-Wed., Feb. 2-3, 7:30pm). Tickets are available online at www.cedarparkcenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com starting as low as $5. The Toros are currently on a six-game winning streak.
The Toros have been rising in the standings of late with the help of Malik Hairston who was recently reassigned to Austin by the San Antonio Spurs. Hairston is averaging 30.3 points per game in his nine outings with the Toros and was named the NBA D-League Performer of the Week for games played during the week of Jan. 18. During that span the Toros went 4-0 with Hairston scoring 43 points in a road victory over the Maine Red Claws on Jan. 22.
Austin now resides in second place in the D-League’s East Conference with a record of 15-9. Divisional opponent Reno enters with a 10-14 record, nine games back of first-place Rio Grande Valley.
