A combination of overachieving expectations, outspoken Christian beliefs, and viral Tebowing made Tim Tebow (along with NBA counterpart Jeremy Lin) one of the biggest sports stories of the year. Tebow will speak at Celebration Church‘s free Easter on the Hill event this Sunday in Georgetown.

Crowds estimated between 20,000 and 30,000 are expected to be on hand when Tebow appears at the event described on the Easter on the Hill website as: “an outdoor worship service for the entire family held here on the sprawling 110-acre campus of Celebration Church, located in Georgetown, Texas. Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with thousands throughout the Austin metroplex on top of one of the highest points in Central Texas.”

Bring lawn chairs and blankets to recline on at this affair more akin to a rock concert than an Easter sermon. Albeit a sober, family friendly rock concert celebrating the resurrection of Christ. Central Texas, it’s Tebow time.
