It’s football season all year long round these parts, and University of Texas pigskin devotees will relish this chance to get a peek at the current squad (and buy a player-used locker). The event begins with the Fan Fest at 11:30am, and then the boys take the field for the orange-white scrimmage at 2pm (which will air nationally on ESPN). The Fan Fest will feature a moonwalk and a superslide, as well as a one-day-only opportunity for fans to purchase one of 90 official Texas football lockers! (Priced at $300 each, check or credit card only.) These lockers were used by the team from 1998 to 2010 and will surely sell out quickly (limit one locker per person). There’ll be a screening of Toy Story 3 on the stadium video screen after the scrimmage. Once again, it’s all free! Sun., April 3, 11:30am. Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 2100 San Jacinto. www.texassports.com.
