AS Roma legend Giuseppe Giannini, known as Il Principe in his playing days, will attend a meet and greet hosted by the AS Roma Austin Fan Club, 6:30-8:30pm at Numero28, 452 W. Second. He and Alessio Fazi from the AS Roma Academy are in town working with the players and coaching staff at Lonestar SC as part of their affiliation.

San Antonio FC has two games on TV this week, on Fox Sports Southwest: hosting the OKC Energy on Sat., May 21, and Rio Grande Valley on Wed., May 25, both at 7:30pm. More info at USLSanAntonio.com.

Cup Final week in Europe began Wednesday with Sevilla winning their third straight Europa League title with three goals early in the second half, to beat Liverpool 3-1, thus earning a spot in next year’s Champions League. This Saturday, May 21, sees five major national cup finals, starting with England’s FA Cup, Manchester United against Crystal Palace, at 11:30am on Fox and Fox Deportes, followed by Germany’s DFB Pokal (Bayern Munich-Borussia Dortmund, 1pm on ESPN Deportes), the Coupe de France (PSG-Marseille, 2pm on BeIN Sports), and the Scottish FA Cup and Coppa Italia (Rangers-Hibernian and Milan-Juven­tus, respectively, streaming online). Sunday is Barcelona-Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final, at 2:30pm on ESPN2… Coming up next, it’ll be crosstown rivals Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid in the European Champions League final, Saturday, May 28, in Milan, and then a brief rest before the Euro 2016 championships kick off in France on June 10.

Barcelona won their sixth Spanish league title in eight years last weekend, while Luis “Manflesh” Suarez wrapped up the Spanish scoring title and almost certainly the FIFA World Player of the Year award.
