The Austin Aztex announced their 2010 season schedule on Monday; they play St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Miami, and Puerto Rico four times each, and each of the other seven teams in the USSF Division 2 twice. The season stretches almost a month longer than last year’s USL-1 season, though it’s again 30 games. Of the 15 home games, 10 are on Saturday evenings; the home opener will be Sunday, April 11 against the defending champion Montreal Impact. The Aztex expect to play their first two games at Nelson Field before moving into House Park for the rest of the season. The Aztex will also host the Houston Dynamo in a preseason match Sunday, March 14, 5pm. See www.austinaztex.com for more info and tickets.
