The Lady Longhorns’ last home game of the season is this Friday, Oct. 28, against the Atlantic 10’s Dayton Flyers. It’s at 7pm at Myers Stadium – and here’s a treat: free admission to anyone wearing a Halloween costume. The Horns finished their conference schedule last weekend on the road, beating Missouri, 4-1, for their fourth straight win, then seeing the streak snapped with a rough, physical 2-1 loss at Kansas that ended the Horns’ chance for a regular-season title. The positive spin: The Kansas game should be a good tune-up for what will doubtless be an intense Big 12 conference tournament next weekend in San Antonio.

The MLS Playoffs first round, second leg is this weekend; the ESPN2 game of the week has the Chicago Fire at defending champs D.C. United, Sunday, 3:30pm.

Also on TV next week: European Champions League: Chelsea at Real Betis on Tuesday, and Manchester United at Lille on Wednesday; both on ESPN2 at 1:30pm.
