The UT Women split a pair at home last weekend, ending their 14-game home winning streak, 2-1, to No. 3 Portland, before beating Rice 2-1 on Sunday. This weekend they open the Big 12 conference schedule on the road at Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, who are a combined 14-1-2 so far this season.

This week, Sept. 27-28, is Game Day 2 of the European Champions League, and once again, ESPN2 will air one game live each day, both at 1:30pm. Tuesday it’s Manchester United hosting Benfica of Portugal; Wednesday is an all-England clash, Chelsea at Liverpool.

The FIFA U-17 World Championships are under way in Peru, and the U.S. is off to a great start, beating North Korea and Italy (3-2 and 3-1) to clinch a spot in the quarterfinals early. Their last opening-round game, against Ivory Coast, is this Friday, Sept. 23, 3:30pm, live on Fox Soccer Channel. They’ll likely face either Holland or Brazil in the quarters, 7pm, Monday, Sept. 26. Semifinals are 4 & 7pm, Thursday, Sept. 29, with the final 6pm Sunday, Oct. 2. All those games will be shown live on FSC.
