Like, oh, probably everyone reading this, I entered an online March Madness bracket contest with some friends. I spent hours analyzing all 65 teams, searching for those elusive upsets and predicting which powerhouse would carry the day. And now, out of 58 participants, I am sitting a dejected 42nd.

And of course, my wife, who spent all of five minutes making her picks, is sitting fourth. And one point ahead of her is my friend who always enters even though “I don’t really follow basketball.”

I swear, next year I’m making my picks with a series of coin flips.
