On Thursday our own Austin Ice Bats released their schedule for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. This will be the Ice Bats 12th year of existence. My how time flies. Their first regular season home game will be Friday, October 19 at 7:35pm versus the Texas Brahmas. The final game of the season will also be against the Brahmas at the Chaparral Ice Arena on March 22 at 7:35pm.

Here’s what Ice Bats Head Coach Brent Hughes has to say: “The schedule is pretty straight forward and has a good mix of opponents. We play nearly half of our games against division rivals, which allows us to control our own destiny. There aren’t as many Sunday games, which is nice for players to recover after playing on Friday and Saturday nights.”
