Big week for Texas soccer. The Houston Dynamo cruised into Sunday’s MLS Cup Championship game up in the Metroplex with a 3-1 home win over the Colorado Rapids. The Rapids took a shock lead in the fourth minute, but the Dynamo struck back quickly with two Paul Dalglish goals in a 10-minute span and looked comfortable thereafter.

They’ll take on the New England Revolution who handled a sluggish DC United 1-0 in the Eastern Conference final.

The MLS Cup is 2:30pm this Sunday, Nov. 12, at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, FC Dallas’ home field; it’s also being televised live on ABC. Ticketmaster for advance tix; see the Houston Dynamo Web site for more.
