We hate to say we told you so, but, well, we did. As I wrote last week in my column, “Playing Through,” the Cowboys peaked in November, when they beat the Packers. And then coasted into the playoffs. We can lay off Tony Romo and Terrell Owens on this one. The fault is entirely Wade Phillips‘. A head coach in the NFL doesn’t have to deal with recruiting. He doesn’t have to coach a position. He has assistants to call the plays. His primary job is to get his team primed to win big games. Someone should inform Phillips of this.
