If you’re a fan of alternative sports, this weekend you’ve got plenty of bloody, bone-crunching options to choose from. Recent “Best of Austin” winner Anarchy Championship Wrestling has a typically strong wrestling card this Sunday at Mohawk, while fellow 2010 “BOA” winner Ann Wolfe is promoting an impressive boxing card of her own at the Backyard on Saturday. Everybody knows Austin is Roller Derby central, and this Saturday the Convention Center hosts the TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls Calvello Cup championship with the Hellcats and the Cherry Bombs fighting for top honors. Is there a doctor in the house?

ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING presents Evolution of the Revolution 2010, featuring the ACW heavyweight championship match between “Mr. Showtime” Scot Summers and Evan Gelistico, as well as Masada vs. Gary Jay, “Biohazard” Jaykus Plisken vs. “Centerfold” Matthew Palmer, and all the heavy-hitters you’ve come to expect. Sun., Sept. 19, 5:15-9pm. Mohawk, 912 Red River. $15 front row, $10 general admission. www.anarchychampionshipwrestling.com.
