Austin Ice Bats goaltender Miguel Beaudry received the Central Hockey League’s Goaltender of the Week award for his excellent play last week. Beaudry earned a 2-0 record allowing four goals on 90 shots during this period. He is 4-1-0 with a 2.61 goals against average and a .933 save percentage in his last six outings. The Ice Bats are smoking hot of late as well. They have won four straight, six of seven, and travel to Corpus Christi to face division rival the Rayz tonight at 7:05pm. That game will be carried live on 1530 ESPN Radio. Their next home game is this Friday, at the Chaparral Ice Arena (14200 I-35 N.), against the Texas Brahmas. The opening face off is scheduled for 7:35pm.
