The support group MLS2ATX tonight revealed the team name, logo, colors, slogan, and more, for Austin’s first major league sports team: Austin FC, the current Columbus Crew, who are ever-so-close to finalizing their move to Austin, starting next season.

The name is Austin FC, of course. The colors are black, white, and Bright Verde (Pantone 354, a nice, bright green). The team tagline is “Grow the Legend” (“Cultiva La Leyenda”), and there are some new stadium renderings, and a pretty cool promo video about “a major league team for all of Austin.” Go to MLSaustin.com (which is also MLS2ATX.com) for all that and more, and to get on their mailing list.
