This 1927 movie was the winner of the first Academy Award for Best Picture. Wings was also filmed partially on location in San Antonio. The silent classic will be presented with a live orchestral accompaniment conducted by Gillian Anderson. The film stars “It Girl” Clara Bow and a very young Gary Cooper in a WWI love triangle, but the film’s real highlight is its spectacular aerial photography.
