Once again, Harry Knowles and Tim League conspired to bring famous people to Austin. And once again – sigh – we missed it.
At an Iron Man 2 sneak screening at the Alamo South on Tuesday night, director Jon Favreau and star Robert Downey Jr. regaled the audience with a video introduction, only to duck out from behind the camera and emerge live onstage. (Favreau apparently closed down the night by DJ’ing at the Highball afterparty.)
The Alamo’s Caitlin Stevens posted video of the big reveal on the Alamo site, which we guess is next best thing. Favorite part? We’re pretty sure Robert Downey Jr. referred to Austin fanboys as “mouth breathers.”
