Not reviewed at press time. Meg Richman’s debut film made its Austin premiere at the 1998 SXSW Film Festival after screening at Sundance. Loosely based on Henry James’ The Wings of the Dove, Richman’s story follows two young lovers who find themselves as the caretakers of a rich, beautiful, terminally ill woman and then hatch a plot to seduce her out of her worldly goods. Molly Parker, who was such a haunting screen presence in last year’s necrophilia film, Kissed, should have a good match in the versatile Joely Richardson.
