Free Samples

Jesse Eisenberg is the ultimate two-for-the-price-of-one actor.

Academy Award-nominated Eisenberg has been plenty of things in his film career: neurotic, savvy, flighty, and even a totally cocky jerk. But viewers can always count on his characters for quick, witty dialogue in every project he’s in.

So it makes sense that 1) he’s onscreen alongside whipsmart Jess Weixler (Somebody Up There Likes Me) in director Jay Gammill‘s Free Samples, which had its regional premiere at the 2012 Austin Film Festival, and 2) that you can watch him in both Free Samples and his breakout feature, Zombieland, back-to-back at the Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In. The one-night-only double feature starts tonight at 8:45pm, and Gammill will be in attendance for a Q&A.

“We had two fantastic screenings of Free Samples last fall at Austin Film Festival, and I look forward to bringing the film back to the town where the food truck craze began and where there’s an incredibly supportive indie film community,” said Gamill in a press release. “And having the Blue Starlite pair it with my favorite Jesse Eisenberg film is more than a treat.”
