Cara Smith and Neil Davis had never seen each other before the convention, but their UO characters — Dell and Shandor — were once married. “I divorced him for desertion,” explains Smith. “I didn’t desert you!” Davis shoots back, and they both break into laughter. “This is the first time we’ve met in person,” says Smith, “but in three years, I think we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well.”
