During the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Sarunas Marciulionis and Arvydas Sabonis played for the Soviet basketball team that bested the United States and became symbols for the totalitarian sports regime. By 1992 in Barcelona, the men played for the free Lithuanian team that beat the Russians and now became international symbols of democracy. Even the Grateful Dead supported their cause. This documentary tells their story.
