“The Key to Defining Dwarfs” (2003, 58 min.) is Martin Sulik’s film essay based on diaries kept by director Jurácek during the 1960s, when he began making films and had his life overturned by the Russian invasion of 1968. “Jospeh Kilian” (Jan Schmidt and Pavel Jurácek, 1963, 38 min.) is Jurácek’s first film project and is a Kafkaesque story set in Prague.
