Back before Steve Martin’s film comedies – and most of the other stuff out there – just became dumb and dumberer, The Jerk reigned supreme in the movies-about-really-stupid-men department. Perhaps Martin was just ahead of his time because his dumb-guy schtick here is just hilarious.
