The Honor of Dongfang Xu

This is the story of one family’s valiant attempt to survive hardships and avenge their nation’s honor when it was invaded by the West in 1900. The film is presented in conjunction with the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin in honor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day, following an open house at the school. Faculty member Li Jun Feng formerly spent 15 years as head coach of the Chinese National Wushu (Kung Fu) Team. He has played the leading role in eight films, including The Honor of Dongfang Xu.
