Not reviewed at press time. Originally titled We Met on the Vineyard, this indie film never saw a full theatrical release, despite an impressive cast featuring some quirky cameos (locals Charlie and Bruce Robison play members of a wedding band, N’awlins legend Dr. John composed the score). Margulies (ER) and Sergei (The Opposite of Sex) star as an about-to-be bride and groom whose wedding day is disrupted by a nasty case of cold feet; the always classy Dixie Carter (Designing Women) co-stars as the social-climbing mother of the groom. The Big Day is in its second week of a limited run at the Alamo, which one suspects will end soon considering the video release is set for July 31. That said, the producers promise to refund the cost of admission if you don’t like the movie. Betcha Blockbuster hasn’t promised the same.
