The prophecy of the eighth fire is an
Anishnabe legend about the choices between materialism and destruction and the spiritual way of the Native people, which will lead to a period of eternal peace, harmony, and a “New Earth.” This movie premiere will be accompanied by Lakota Eagle Horse Dancers at 4:15pm, words from First Nations elder Dave Courchene Jr. at 6pm, and music by Native American reggae band Native Roots at 6:45pm.
