Movies don’t get more up-to-the-minute than these. This unique festival will present all the finished films made by 22 Austin teams in a 48-hour period between Nov. 1-3. All the film must be between five and 12 minutes long, and genres, various props, and lines of dialogue or characters have been predetermined in a random drawing prior to the start of filming. The teams will compete for the Austin Best Film award and the right to represent Austin in a competition against the best 48-Hour films from other cities. Austin is the final stop on the Project’s six-city tour in 2002.
