This 1931 film’s been out of circulation for a very long time but that’s not to say it’s for lack of interest. A mismatched collaboration of the equally legendary F.W. Murnau and Robert Flaherty, Tabu is a South Seas idyll. It’s now back in release in newly restored and re-edited prints. See related story in 7/26/91 issue.
