If you’re an Austinite, you know all about Emily Hagins, the 17-year-old filmmaking phenom already on her third film, but the rest of the world makes her acquaintance tonight when My Sucky Teen Romance debuts at the Paramount.

Emily spoke with the Chronicle back in August about My Sucky Teen Romance and the career that kicked off at age 12 with her first film, the zombie pic Pathogen.

My Sucky Teen Romance screens tonight (Tuesday) at 9:30pm at the Paramount and again on Saturday, March 19, 8:30pm, at Rollins Theatre.
