SXSW is mere heartbeats away! Interactive precoverage begins on p.48 of this issue. Film passes are currently on sale exclusively at Waterloo Video, and new additions to the Festival lineup include – stop slobbering, fanboy – Christina Ricci, who will be here with significant other Adam Goldberg – get your head out of the oven, fanboy – with their film I Love Your Work, and, “knock it off, fanboy” redux, Rebecca Romaijn-Stamos will also be on hand with hubby John for the film Knots. No word yet on whether Karl Rove will be showing up with a phalanx of CIA spooks to “take out” anyone caught viewing the Bush’s Brain doc, but the possibility that legions of the undead – um, we mean young Republicans – will swarm the theatre is uncomfortably likely. Head to www.sxsw.com for all the latest.
