Guessing at TBA sneaks is always a fun festival pastime, but SXSW has decided to do some of the work for you, announcing a first-look at the Robert Rodriguez-produced and locally shot Predators reboot as well as a screening of Géla Babluani’s 13, an English-language remake of his hit film 13 Tzameti.

13’s cast alone begs attention – Michael Shannon, Mickey Rourke, Ben Gazzara, Jason Statham, and Natasha Lyonne (you’ve been missed!) – and the fact that it was cherry-picked by the tastemakers at Fantastic Fest to screen at SXSW guarantees this is worth watching. 13 screens Saturday, March 13, midnight, at the Alamo South Lamar.

The Predators sneak is more of a first taste than full meal, but we imagine fans of the franchise will find plenty to get excited about. That sneak takes place March 12 at 10:15pm at the Alamo Ritz – a pretty small venue, so you should probably queue up before doors open at 9:45pm. Badgeholders only.

And keep your ear to the ground – we’re betting there are still secrets out there.
